Actor Salman Khan Received Another Death Threat

Actor Salman Khan received yet another death threat, this time from a mentally unstable 26-year-old man traced to Waghodia taluka in Vadodara district, Gujarat, Mumbai police confirmed on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.


What Was the Threat Against Salman Khan?

According to police sources, the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline received a threatening message on Sunday, April 13. The message claimed the sender would:

  • Blow up Salman Khan’s car with a bomb

  • Enter his residence and assault him

This led to the Worli Police registering a case under Section 351(2)(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which deals with criminal intimidation. In response, security was tightened outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area.


Suspect Found Mentally Unstable in Gujarat

Upon investigation, the threat was traced to a 26-year-old man living in a village in Waghodia taluka, Vadodara. Mumbai police, in coordination with the local Waghodia police, visited his home on Monday.

“It turned out the man is mentally unstable and is undergoing treatment,”
said Rohan Anand, Vadodara Superintendent of Police.

Though not arrested, the suspect was served a notice to appear before the Mumbai police, after which the team returned.


Salman Khan’s Ongoing Security Threats

This is not the first threat to Salman Khan’s life:

  • April 2024: Two bikers fired four rounds outside his Bandra residence.

  • The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has issued multiple threats in the past, demanding Khan apologize for the alleged blackbuck killing.

  • Following repeated threats, Y-Plus security was assigned to him.

  • A plot to attack him at his Panvel farmhouse was also uncovered by Navi Mumbai Police in 2024.


Salman Khan’s Security Status

Given the frequency and seriousness of these threats, Salman Khan continues to be under high security. His movements are closely monitored, and authorities are taking every possible precaution.
