Chandigarh Power Distribution Launches 24/7 WhatsApp Helpline for Consumer Complaints

Chandigarh – The Chandigarh Power Distribution Limited (CPDL) has launched a new 24/7 WhatsApp helpline to improve the grievance redressal process and provide faster assistance to electricity consumers.

The announcement was made by Arun Kumar Verma, Director of CPDL, who stated that the initiative aims to enhance consumer convenience and ensure quick resolution of power-related issues.

Consumers can now simply send a “Hi” on WhatsApp to 9240216666 to begin the complaint process.

Once the message is sent, users will receive an interactive menu with several service options like:

  • Register a Complaint

  • Check Complaint Status

  • Report a Concern

  • General Information

To register a complaint, users need to provide their name, address, and a brief description of the issue. Once submitted, the complaint is automatically forwarded to the concerned service center. Consumers will also receive a notification once the issue is resolved.

In addition, users can provide feedback on the service after resolution.
