Google Pixel 8a Design and Color Options Leak Ahead of Google I/O 2024

The Google Pixel 8a, set to debut at Google I/O 2024, is the successor to the Pixel 7a and is rumored to be an affordable variant of the Pixel 8. Recent leaks have revealed the design and color options of the upcoming Pixel 8a, showcasing four distinct color choices. The Pixel 8a is expected to feature a 4,500mAh battery and Google’s Tensor G3 chipset.

The leaked images suggest that the Pixel 8a will closely resemble the Pixel 8, with similarities in design and color options. The Pixel 8a is reportedly arriving in Bay (Blue), Mint (Green), Obsidian (Black), and Porcelain (White) color variants.

A recent live image leak also provided a glimpse of the Pixel 8a’s design, showcasing a rear camera module similar to the Pixel 8 and a matte finish rear panel distinct from the Pixel 7a.

Rumored specifications include the Tensor G3 chipset, 8GB of RAM, a 6.1-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak HDR brightness of 1,400 nits. The Pixel 8a is expected to retain the camera setup from the Pixel 7a, featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Additionally, the phone is likely to include a 5,000mAh battery with 27W wired fast charging support.
