Honor has officially confirmed that the Honor X9c will soon launch in India. Though the exact date is still under wraps, the smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon. A dedicated microsite for the phone is already live, teasing its key highlights, including SGS drop resistance and an IP65M rating for dust and water protection.
Honor X9c Specifications and Features
The Honor X9c will ship with Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, paired with a 6,600mAh battery that supports 66W wired SuperCharge. The phone is designed to remain stable even under extreme temperatures thanks to Honor’s Power Management System.
Up front, users get a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM dimming, and an eye-searing peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The X9c also includes dual stereo speakers said to be 300% louder than usual, promising an immersive media experience.
Camera and Imaging Capabilities
The highlight is the 108MP main rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, OIS, EIS, and up to 3x lossless zoom. It also brings in AI-enhanced features like AI Erase and Motion Sensing, expected to elevate mobile photography. For selfies, the global variant offers a 16MP front camera, and the Indian variant is expected to retain this setup.

The Honor X9c is 7.98mm thick and weighs 189g. Its build has been certified for 360-degree water resistance, and it comes with SGS drop resistance certification, indicating durability and style combined.

In Malaysia, the Honor X9c is priced at MYR 1,499 (approx. ₹28,700) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, and MYR 1,699 (approx. ₹32,500) for the 12GB + 512GB model. A similar pricing range is expected for the Indian market.
