Hailing from Madras and born in 1970, Ramya Krishnan embarked on her cinematic journey at just 13 with the Malayalam film “Neram Pularumbol”. Despite initial setbacks, including an uncredited role in Kamal Haasan’s “Per Sollum Pillai”, Ramya persisted and secured her breakthrough with Telugu hits like “Sutradharulu” in the late ’80s, paving her way to stardom.
