Realme is all set to launch its new premium mid-range smartphone, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G, in India on January 6, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the company has officially confirmed several key details, including the chipset, display, battery, and durability ratings, making it clear that this phone is aimed at power users.
The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will launch alongside the Realme 16 Pro 5G and will be sold via Flipkart and Realme’s official website. The phone will be available in India-exclusive colours — Master Gold and Master Grey.
Realme 16 Pro+ 5G: Chipset, Display & Performance Details
Realme has confirmed that the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, an octa-core processor. According to the company, the chipset has scored around 1.44 million points on AnTuTu, indicating strong gaming and multitasking performance.
The phone will feature a nearly bezel-less display with 1.48mm thin bezels and a 94% screen-to-body ratio. The display supports up to 6,500 nits peak brightness, a 2,500Hz touch sampling rate, 4,608Hz PWM dimming, and Netflix HDR playback, making it one of the brightest screens in its segment.
It will also come with a hole-punch design for the selfie camera and will be paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, offering up to 8,400Mbps read and write speeds, along with 512GB internal storage.
