IIFA 2024 Awards: Lord Booby Won Best Performance in a Negative Role in ANIMAL Movie
The IIFA 2024 Awards ceremony, held in Abu Dhabi on September 28, was a spectacular event honoring the best of Indian cinema. The grand night saw Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal take home the coveted Best Film award, with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producer Bhushan Kumar proudly accepting the honor on behalf of the team.
In the acting categories, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan secured the Best Actor award for his intense performance in Jawan, while Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for her moving portrayal of a mother fighting for her children in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. The film struck a deep chord with audiences worldwide, and Rani’s win was a testament to her powerful performance.
Veteran filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra won the Best Director award for 12th Fail, a biopic that tells the inspiring story of IPS officer Manoj Sharma, portrayed by Vikrant Massey.
