Avneet Kaur Accused of Fraud by Jewelry Brand: Allegations Surface Over Unfulfilled Verbal Agreement
Avneet Kaur, a well-known social media influencer and actress, has been accused of fraud by a small jewelry brand. Screenshots of interactions between the actress and the brand have surfaced online, catching the attention of netizens. The brand claims they had a verbal agreement with Avneet’s stylist, but the actress failed to honor the deal.
On August 6, the brand took to their official Instagram account to share a detailed message about the situation. They stated that Avneet Kaur had purchased jewelry from them for a trip to Europe. The verbal agreement was that in exchange for the jewelry, Avneet would tag the brand in her posts. However, this never happened.
The brand provided screenshots to back up their claims, showing their communication with both Avneet and her stylist. Initially, when Avneet did not tag the brand in her first post, her stylist assured them that it would happen in a subsequent post. But when the brand followed up, they were told that Avneet would pay for the items instead.
Upon her return from the trip, the brand sent her invoices, but Avneet declined to pay, suggesting that she would instead provide credit in her stories. The brand mentioned that Avneet wore their jewelry multiple times during her trip and even included photos of her wearing the pieces. They clarified that their intent was to reveal the truth rather than to “name and shame” the actress.
As of now, Avneet Kaur has not responded to the post or the allegations. However, netizens have criticized her in the comments section.
Meanwhile, Avneet recently appeared in the film “Luv Ki Arrange Marriage” alongside Sunny Singh and attended the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. She was there with Shantanu Maheshwari to unveil the first look of their film, “Love in Vietnam.”
