Hyundai India has responded to growing customer demand by launching a new Corporate variant of the Alcazar diesel, now equipped with a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof. This move comes after the carmaker initially surprised buyers by offering the updated Alcazar diesel without both a sunroof and a spare wheel.
Priced from Rs. 17.86 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Corporate variant is available with both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options. The diesel engine continues to be the tried-and-tested 1.5-litre CRDi unit, delivering refined performance and high fuel efficiency, now complemented by enhanced features.
Additionally, Hyundai India has expanded the automatic transmission range for the Alcazar petrol lineup. The Prestige petrol variant now gets the seven-speed DCT option, priced at Rs. 18.63 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Alcazar continues to be offered in four trims — Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature. Mechanically, both 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines are available, paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The petrol engine is coupled with a seven-speed DCT, while the diesel comes with a six-speed torque converter.
The addition of the sunroof-equipped diesel Corporate variant aims to strike a balance between features and affordability, especially for buyers prioritizing both diesel efficiency and premium creature comforts.
