OnePlus Turbo 6 Unveiled in China With 165Hz Display, 9,000mAh Battery

OnePlus has unveiled its new gaming-focused smartphone, the OnePlus Turbo 6, in China. The company has revealed key specifications and design details of the device, but the phone is not officially launched for sale yet.

Earlier, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis had hinted that the Turbo 6 would offer extreme performance, long battery life, and a powerful gaming experience — and the unveiled specs clearly support that claim.

OnePlus Turbo 6 Specifications & Key Features (Confirmed)

The OnePlus Turbo 6 comes with a 1.5K display and a 165Hz refresh rate, making it one of the fastest screens seen on a OnePlus phone so far. The device also offers IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, giving it strong water and dust resistance.

For security, the phone includes an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side, while the left side is expected to feature the Plus Key, a customizable button seen on recent OnePlus devices.

Performance-wise, the phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which should deliver smooth gaming and fast multitasking.

In the camera department, the OnePlus Turbo 6 features a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it offers a 32MP selfie camera for video calls and content creation.

The biggest highlight is the 9,000mAh battery, the largest ever used in a OnePlus smartphone. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging, clearly targeting heavy users and gamers.

Design-wise, the phone sports a square-shaped camera module with curved edges, following the new OnePlus design language introduced with recent models.

OnePlus Turbo 6 India Launch: What We Know So Far

The OnePlus Turbo 6 will debut in China on January 8. OnePlus has not yet confirmed an India launch, but reports suggest that the device could be rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 6 for Indian users.

According to industry reports, the India launch may happen around early March, possibly during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026.

In China, the phone has been unveiled in White, Black, and Green colour options. OnePlus may introduce different colour variants for the Indian market.
