Poco F7 Launch Expected in India and Globally in June; Key Specs Leaked
Poco is set to launch the Poco F7 globally, with the Indian launch expected around the same time, possibly in the third week of June, on June 17 or June 19. This will join the existing Poco F7 lineup, which includes the Pro and Ultra variants released earlier this year.
Key Specifications and Design
The Poco F7 is expected to be similar to the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro launched in China. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, with options for up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The phone will run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0.
It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will have IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings and a metal middle frame. An IR blaster is also included for remote control functionality.
Camera Setup
The smartphone is expected to have a dual rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor. The front camera is tipped to be 20 megapixels for selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging
The Indian variant is rumored to come with a 7,550mAh battery, while the global model will have a slightly smaller 6,550mAh battery. Both variants will support 90W wired fast charging.
Previous Poco F7 Variants: Pro and Ultra
The Poco F7 Ultra and Pro, launched in select markets in March, come equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets respectively. They feature 5,300mAh and 6,000mAh batteries and advanced cameras, including a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, with the Ultra model adding a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom.
