Poco has also revealed that the phone will be 7.35mm thin and weigh just 178 grams, making it one of the slimmer 5G smartphones in its segment. The teaser images show a squircle-shaped camera module, similar to recent Poco and Xiaomi phones.
Poco M8 5G: Expected Specifications & Features
As per leaks, the Poco M8 5G is likely to be a rebranded version of the upcoming Redmi Note 15 5G. If this turns out to be true, the phone could come with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The phone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It may pack a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
For photography, leaks suggest a 50MP primary camera with OIS, along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone could feature a 20MP selfie camera for video calls and social media.
The Poco M8 5G is also expected to run on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Other possible features include an optical fingerprint scanner and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Poco M8 5G Price in India (Expected)
The Poco M7 was launched in India at a starting price of ₹9,999. However, considering the upgraded display, processor, and camera features, the Poco M8 5G is expected to be priced above ₹15,000. Some reports suggest pricing could move closer to the ₹18,000–₹20,000 range, similar to the Redmi Note 15 5G.

It could sport a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Camera-wise, the phone may offer a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front camera.
