Who Can Apply for NDA 2 2025?

To apply for the NDA 2 2025 exam, you must meet five main criteria:

  1. Nationality

  2. Age Limit

  3. Marital Status

  4. Educational Qualification

  5. Physical Fitness

Let’s break each one down.

1. Nationality

You can apply if you are:

  • A citizen of India, or

  • A subject of Nepal, or

  • A person of Indian origin who came from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or other nearby countries with the intent to settle permanently in India

2. NDA 2 Age Limit

Your date of birth must be between 01 January 2007 and 01 January 2010. This means:

  • Minimum age: Around 15.5 years

  • Maximum age: Around 18.5 years

  • You must be unmarried (both boys and girls can apply)

Also, you can’t get married during training. If you do, you’ll be disqualified.

3. Educational Qualification

Different wings require different qualifications:

  • Army Wing: Passed or appearing in Class 12

  • Air Force and Navy: Class 12 with Physics and Math

  • Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry): Class 12 with Physics and Math

⚠️ If you are in Class 11, you cannot apply.
✅ Students who are appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2025 can apply.

4. NDA Physical Standards 2025

  • You must be physically and mentally fit

  • There are medical tests after the SSB interview

  • Common issues to avoid: Overweight, ear wax, deviated nasal septum, flat feet, etc.

  • Permanent tattoos are allowed only on inner forearms and back of the hand

Who Cannot Apply for NDA 2 2025?

  • Married candidates

  • Those born before 01 Jan 2007 or after 01 Jan 2010

  • Class 11 students

  • Candidates debarred from holding a Defence Commission

  • Those who failed the CPSS (Pilot Aptitude Test) cannot apply for Air Force flying branch
